The rear shock on my 91 KDX250 SR is leaking oil from the seals. The lazy Kawasaki dealer here in japan doesnt want to replace the seals but wants me to spend 600 dollars on a new one. The bike is old and i only paid 300 dollars for it so I am reluctant to do so. I have found some secomd hand shocks for 250 SR on some japanese auction sites but there is no mention about what actual model they are from ie, D-1, D-2 ,91,92,etc. The second hand units are only 60 dollars/ Does anyone know if the shocks on these bikes are the same ? I dont want to go through the hassle of buying it and finding out that it doesnt fit.
