Shock bearing question????

I pulling apart my 220 for cleaning and bearing replacement. My question is the top of the shock mount.........is it a bearing????? Does it come out???

No. And believe me, I've tried. It doesn't make sense to me that all the other piviots on that dang rear suspension is so well covered bearing wise but this spot isn't, but there I go thinking again.
