ok so i dont know if anyone else grabbed the newest motocross action magazine but in there they did the 2007 125 shootout. of course yz got first. and the cr was third. it went yz rm cr. the cr hasnt changed at all since 05. and the yz hasnt changed since 05 but the suspension. in the 05 dirt rider shootout cr got 2nd place and they said that the bike is for real now. I have read it time and time again. so if both the bikes havnt changed shouldnt cr still be in 2nd? is the cr that horrible of a bike? is the yz that much better than the cr? I have started saving and within 6 months I would like to grab a 05 or newer yz or cr 125. I want the cr because i had one as a kid and my feet can touch the ground on it. but everyone always says the yz is the better bike. I cant make up my mind. what should I do?

I love the yz, but I do not like Hondas. In this case, the honda is better than the rm because I think the rm's are made very cheaply compare to its competitors

The YZ125 has changed a little bit, didn't they change the suspension last year and add different bolts and bars this year.

I am a honda rider through and through and I think I would get the Yammie even though I don't like the look of it.

If you can find a KTM 144 get that over the other two though.

you are the first people to tell me to get the cr over the yz.

everyone has mixed opinions, and almost all of them are biased, but i cant speak in that area :) . the YZ125, as far as the newer models go, seems to be an overall better bike for the guy who wants to race. before the CR got redone for the better in 05', the KX and RM125's were the best( and no, im not talking about the best in the mags). if you feel like spending a couple thousand on a newer bike, and your tall enough to effectively ride and/or race the YZ, then get it.
