Hi,

I'm from Portugal and i have a 1993 KDX 250 that i bought about a month a go, altough is just to be used in offroad i do some public road in order do get to the track, and thinking on security i would like to add signal lights and a ignition key so that when the bike is parked in the coffee break someone don't steal it.
Is it hard to do it?

Best regards

Adding signal lights isn't too difficult. You need an AC-to-DC rectifier, the signal lights themselves, a flasher unit, and the switch.

As for the ignition switch, personally, I wouldn't waste your time. Most can be bypassed real fast. I suggest getting a disc lock and/or chain lock. I use a disc lock myself.

Thanks for the help.
Can i use the power cable that is used to power on the front/back light or is better to install another ac to dc rectifier just for the signal lights?
Regarding the ignition switch i haven't tought that way but you are completely right i will keep on using the locker.
