If Dungey is on the podium also, Grant will be outnumbered, if not out gunned.

You talking about a GP title? As of now Townley has no plans to race US SX in 2011 and doesn't have a ride lined up for outdoors as of yet either.
BT has always wanted to race in the USA so he will be doing all he can to stay state side. Maybe even win as a privateer

KTM selling all those smokers has some money to burn? 79 was the last euro year that I recall a competitive bike came here, and it was a Maico! And not to mention a decent dealer nearby! Now if Service Honda started selling them? That 250 sx is light and fast! All it needs is some white plastic. And of course making it when 2 strokes lined the gate would have been nice. Now, what does it matter? Dropping that kind of coin on a new bike, I would go see AJ at Service first. Young guys looking for a sponsor, got to go with Japan. Do you see the orange crate at the track with sponsored local racers? Do they have an aggressive contingency program here, anything?

Nope. Remember Red Bud, money to burn, setting up outside the usual staging and stealing some valued spectator area! Anyway that aside, did you say 1979 Maico?

It took DeCoster quite a while to get Suzuki working, so likely the same at the pumkin patch. Money isn't enough on its own. At that level the std bike is only a small part of the potential outcome. If Dungey retains his mechanics and close back up then most people will only see his rear guard next season. However last year the "stars" all fell to injuries. If he is head to head with Reed and Bubba and all are fit then we will see a show and a half.

Chad Reed riding a Vodafone Honda in Oz this weekend but still has no deal for 2011 in the US. Speculating a move to 4 wheel racing.

Chad owns the Oz Super X franchise so maybe people are standing back until he finishes fit to race US season. Either way lots of potentialy race winning privateers

There was great racing yesterday in Sydney with 2 wins for Chad and 2 seconds for Josh Hansen. Chad was on a VODOFONE honda with PRO CIRCUIT top end and suspension mods, he also said he is still negotiating a USA ride. He looked sharp and no sign of fatigue, at the interview directly after dual stag final races he was not even sweating. Ben Townley was also in a live interview wearing Toy Lee Design shirt talking about next season in USA, so both are coming after OZ super x series

1 1/2 hours ago BT anounced on live radio in NZ thet he is going to europe to race green as a result of his being noticed at the MX of Nations so the silly one this season seems to be me for not believing. Maybe the Bubba SX only BT outdoor only team may surface ? Now thats a rumour to speculate on :yikes: :debil:

Ivan Tedesco signed with Hart/Hunnington...

I guess that opens the door for Chad Reed to move back onto a blue bike...

Just read that Chad can't find anyone to hire him, so he's going to do a JLaw and start his own team..

I'll bet Chad COULD find someone to hire him, just not at anywhere near the pay he used to get.

Times are tough, even for Warriors.
