Decided to give dirt bikes a try. Been an avid snowmobiler for years and do a lot of custom work on them. There's hundreds of miles of forest roads in our neck of the woods that attract lots of off road riding so I thought we'd give it a go.

Your going to love it. I went snowmobiling for the first time just a few years back out in Wyoming and it was awesome, just like going on a good trail ride with the dirtbike. Other than the fact that I got stuck in a couple of 5 feet deep snow drifts and had to dig myself out. All in all it was awesome when I get back to a four seasons location I am definitely going to get myself one. I am a believer that if you are a fan of either snowmobiling or dirtbiking you will also be a big fan of the other

I was a sledder also then I pick-up up a dual-sport bike the ride in the summer. Then I stanted riding single track trails, got a better bike. The next winter I sold my sled to by a new better bike, started doing enduro's and have been hooked since! I think it's much more challenging and fun to ride a bike.
If you live in the Black Hills you have great riding out your back door! A lot of guy's I ride with love to ride there, and say it's the best place to ride!
Good Luck
