DUH, the so called fastest man bs, did not fly again last night! The new fastest man did prevail! And, another internet badazz went down the crapper. Thank you, DRN.

I guess that traction control works afterall, eh, or was that just bs? I call it domination.

James rode a great race and was full marks for the win last night. If you want to get into the "Fastest Man" BS again you might want to check the lap times.

Bottom line is right now there is 5 guys capable of winning under the right circumstances with Stewart and Villopoto having a bit of an edge over the other three. Starts and aggressiveness the first few laps are huge as it's hard to make up time on the leader while you have to battle to maintain your spot in the field each lap as was evidenced by Brayton's heat race win.

I agree, I was just rustling some feathers. :nener:

The whole "Fastest Man" stuff is just as illegitimate as the G.O.A.T, and so on. It's all just nicknames in order to spark interest and raise ratings.

I think Stewart is still the man to beat, but RV is not far off at all, and they're definitely a step ahead of the rest. I have a feeling we'll be watching a few battles between those two over the season, but the majority of what we will see throughout the year will be the battle for 3rd going on about 15 seconds behind the leaders while the top two gap eachother by 4 seconds or so, and completely out of the camera view.

I've noticed that Stewart still has the whoops and rhythm sections dialed, but his exit speed out of turns doesn't seem nearly as violent as in the past, almost like he's doing the squid stand-up in every corner. I'm wondering what's going on with that, but RV definitely is getting that launch out of the apex.

RV needs the traction control now! Great race, edge of my seat the entire race. The lites, half way. Bubba made it to number 3 on all time wins, way to go! He sucks in the mud, as good as he looked, means big trouble for the pack the rest of the year! What about Reed putting it to the champ!

I had a buddy that was more than miffed about Reed making that pass on Dungey when he got held up by lappers just before the finish. I have to admit, it put me at a bit of a moral quandary. On one side I understand his point as it was obvious that RD had won that 2nd spot fairly but just got caught up in roughage after he let off on the final turn, so it was a bit cheap.

That being said, I've always been told to race to the end. It doesn't matter if it was a track meet or motocross, you don't let up until you're a few seconds past the finish line. Reed saw the opportunity and took it, and even though it might have seemed a bit slimy, that dude has a lot to prove with his newly developed team and all, and another spot higher on the podium looks awfully tasty, regardless of the situation it takes to get there.

It's been a few days, and I'm still a bit on the fence of that one, but it sure made for exciting racing!

Nothing slimy about it at all, race to the line, lappers are part of racing. On the topic of Dungey he needs to get way more aggressive getting around guys in the early laps.

I have to agree with Chili, no foul on Reeds part at all.

Dean Wilson learned a hard lesson in Texas last summer about racing past the finish line, I think Dungey did too.

According to the lap times at AMA's live at the wire, Reed's fastest lap of the entire race was lap 20!

In fact, for Lap 20, Reed was the fastest rider on the track, by a lot. Nothing dirty at all about that, unless he cut the course or something.

I think Dungy entered lap 20 with like a 3 second cushion, rode a deceent lap and was probably surprised as heck Reed was there. Then Dungey brain faded and swung wide in the last corner, leaving the door WIDE open.

Not the best finish one would expect from, the guy with the big 1 on his plate? And Bubba, was not the fastest guy, again! But did win the race!

Yeah, he let off quite a bit though once he had a good lead.

Where are you finding lap times, by the way? I haven't looked too far into it, but a few searches here and there and I've never seemed to find a source that had the lap times archived. That's something I'm always interested in.

James "Bubba" Stewart is the Fastest Motocross & Supercross Racer on the Planet right now regardless of Race, Color or Creed.

You may want to catch up on current events. You forgot to add National Origin and Sexual Orientation. You must be an anti-immigrant gay basher .. and a 12 year old girl.

By the way, I hate Stewart AND that douche Albright. It's funny to see Mr. Technology complain about another team's technology.

It's also a bit race-ist to call a black man 'Bubba' don't you think?
