Why would bubba need any more help. He already is the fastest rider out there.

Bubba has shown time and again that "fastest" does not equal winningest, the first one to the checkered flag is the winner, sometimes Bubba sometimes not. Now if the argument was Bubba is the fastest african american riding SX & MX at this time I would agree, just as I am the fastest rider in my house.... when my son is at college.

JBS was NOT the fastest man LAST Saturday, RV was! Tomorrow, it may be different, again? But, the hating will not change. Kind of makes one feel better about themselves?

That being said, I really like watching RV race. He has a certain characteristic that I can't particularly point out, but he's fun to watch. I think JBS will have a year or two left of being the top dog, but I think Canard and Villapoto are the two to watch in the future, with Dungey being the future version of K-Dub.

In just speaking with Larry Brooks on the phone, Villapoto's race lap time was also a tenth of a second faster then Stewarts fastest lap run in practice so, correction. Ryan Villapoto was indeed the fastest man Saturday.

I have enjoyed most of the French racers. Besides Ricky Johnson, Jean-Michel Bayle is my favorite rider of all time. I liked Mikael Pichon and I liked David Villumen.
I think Mickael Pichon got a terrible shake in American Motocross. Fired from his job and sent packing for striking someone? Look at all the slack that Ron Lechien got, look at all the slack that J-Law got before heading off to jail. There was another guy that I used to race against that was a trouble maker, oh yeah Tyler Evans. But Tyler knew better then to ever get out of line with me, but Tyler thought he was a bad boy.

Did he set the fastest lap time of any african american rider? Yes. Did he set the fastest lap time for almost every lap in every race in ANY season? Nope. That pretty much ends that theory then.
PLEASE feel free to try and put whatever spin you need on it but the FACTS show the fastest lap time in practice or in the race does not equal the win or championship unless those fastest lap times are 20 in a row in the main of each race. The FACT is that there is no #1 plate handed out for anything other than the racer that WINS the most points by being consistently fast. The FACT is that Bubba does not always set the fastest lap time lap after lap in the field so he is not the fastest rider. Maybe you guys will have better luck proving the Easter Bunny lives.

I'll let the AMA decide if there was something illegal with Stewart's bike. James Stewart is exciting to watch regardless of his off track life. I saw the top 7 SX riders finish in the top 7 spots in Phoenix. This season will likely see any of those seven riders on top of the podium and the points race will be very interesting at the halfway point of the season.

Back in 06 I wondered why someone did not put all the information sensors on Bubbles bike, and make a roller coaster ride like it. They have them for a lot more than wheel rotation! On another note, I seen Grant went through knee surgery, and Hahn fractured his spine. Heal up quick!
