I was able to hop on a 1984 cr60 today and all I have to say is WOW. It was MUCH faster than I expected. I think it feels quicker than my buddies crf150. Anyone have any specs on these bikes? I looked everywhere and I couldnt find any.

I knew they did and have serious doubts that it was that powerful. OK I don't have doubts I KNOW it doesn't.

CR60 12 horsepower dose a bit more power then CRF150 11.5 horsepower but it the weight of CR60 that make all the diff in world after all we talk about 50lb less weight that is why it much faster and feels quicker but not let say a CRF150R.
Honda and Yamaha stop making the 60cc and Suzuki 60/65cc Motocross Bike but you can still get Kawasaki KX65 and KTM 65 SX.

Aparently we're talking CRF150F and not the +20hp CRF150R?

The YZ60, KX60, and CR60 all made about the same hp. The KX60 had the most sophisticated suspension and beefiest frame, so all the parents started buying those. Honda and Yamaha stopped selling 60s here around the same...the YZ60 was the bike to have in 81-82, as the RM60 sucked (twin shocks! 4" of suspension travel)...but the YZ60 lacked a linkage monoshock (had the old style one), and had less travel front and back the CR60 and KX60. I had an 83 YZ60 and it was very strong in the midrange.

Yes, a crf150F...not R. Around 10hp was my guess. I was close. Their size and lightness make them really fun and easy to toss around.
