I've been playing with Photoshop CS5 so I figured I would drag a few pics from the "these are CRAP, maybe I should just delete these" folder and tried to make them into something I felt good about saving.

Turns out CS5 is really awesome

As usual you have a great eye for shots- even when you label it bad. Any chance of posting the before/after to compare?

I'll put something to together later this week Dave. You'll see why they were in the bad pile. The sun was very bright that day so the colors were flat and the shadows and contrasts were a bear to deal with. Just to really screw things up I accidentally had the auto-bracketing feature turned on, so the exposures were jumping from +2 EV to -2 EV. I was shooting for a while before I figured out why my exposures were all screwed up.

Not my proudest moment behind the camera. :rotfl:

the beauty of lots o' mega pixels ... infinite crops! :)

You know it

These are the times when I'm glad I spent the money for good glass and a D300 body. I can only image what you could do with a 24.5-megapixel Nikon D3X, and at $8000 for just the body I'll continue to just imagine forever. :whoa:

If these are the bad ones I have a few friends who would like to look at the good ones, the average ones and especially the spectacular ones

Good stuff Rich. I like the BSA tank. Did you photo shop the union jack on the tank or is it painted?

Mully makes mental note for "when" he hits the lottery....

Cool pictures Rich, but I would love to see this stuff in person.

The flag was on the tank when I shot it Terry.

I'll dig up some additional pics of the bike. It was sweet.
