some help , 04 RM250 carby

the carby on my bike seems different from the manual, it shows a power jet un the float bowel carby body but I can find it . What size carby is on this model.

38mm Keihin PWK powerjet.

if you carb says keihin and has wires to the ignition, then its the right carb.

The manual shows a small power jet near the main and pilot but I have had the carby to pieces but cant see the jet also I measured the carby bore its 39mil. The cerby has 2 set of wires coming out. I have been trying check the size of the power jet.

the carb tapers out, it will be 38mm at the slide i bet.

why do you think its the wrong carb? i wouldnt worry about messing with the powerjet- most RMs ive seen run great with out the box jetting- you wont find any extra power from the carb IMO

bclapham, Thanks, I am sure your right about the size. My concern is the difference of the carby fitted to bike and the manual.I set about looking to see what size the power jet is when I was told it should be a 45 but I cant find it.
