Something a Little Different

I built a bracket at work to hold 2 flash units. I mounted 2 420's to it, screwed it to my tripod, and busted it out for a few shots at the Indy Sx. Here's a sample of what the results looked like. Fired remotely with my 580 on camera.

Did you have that on the South Side of the track during practice?

If so, I saw it.. Looked pretty cool.

YZ85 -- I don't know if it was the south side of the dome, but I was set up right after the finish line jump in practice. I then moved over to the whoops for a while. I have a few keepers, but not a whole lot. I was kind of hoping for a big old bowl turn where I could blast them from the side, but there was nothing really like that in Indy. I will try again for sure in Detroit.

Bspeed, I think I may have had them a bit too close. I had a really narrow window in which to light the riders. Next time I will try to move them back.
