I was working at a local high school taking pictures of their Back to School Night yesterday. It was pretty basic stuff. A lot of walking around the halls and getting shots of parents in the kids' classrooms.
I happened to pass the chemistry room and glance in the door. The room was empty but there were some odds and ends laying on the tables. As I walked past the doorway I noticed the sunlight coming through the window and striking these vials that were lined up in a rack. (I'm sure they have an official chemistry name, but I'm drawing a blank). It was about 7:30pm and I thought it looked kind of cool the way the sunlight was catching the glass, but the back wall was really dark to almost frame them. So I fired a couple of shots and this one was my favorite. It's kind of nice to actually be inspired at work once in a while. ;)
One thing's for sure...someone needs to wash those things! :whoa:
