i am thinkin bout splittin the case on my rm 125 cuz my tranny isnt shiftin if i buy a shop manual how hard is it i hav done many motor and tranny swaps in my cars, done topends, and valves on my four stroke bikes and was wonderin if i would be gettin in over my head as far as technacal ability?

its not too difficult - get the manual, get organized and then get to work. DO Not pry between the cases. rather, use a mallet and TAP around the case - don't wack on the end of the crank - don't wack on the output shaft - DON'T bank on the ear that the kickstarter sits in - its enticing..but don't do it. worst case, pull everything external and then pull the motor from the frame and take it to a shop - you might need the qualified eye to spot the tranny problem - and you can save some dough
