Emphasis on guess.

The spring rate that is 'correct' for you has a lot to do with your riding style, ability and what kind of ride you want.

Racetech has a spring rate generator. Run your numbers through it, subtract two sizes and you'd be close.

Jeremy (mx-tech) has a spring rate generator, too, I believe. Give it a shot.

Is being a 12st clubman (whatever that is) of import in spring rate choice?

That wouldn't by chance be '1/2 fast' would it? ;)

Isn’t 'stone' (st) part of the archaic measuring system you guys use?

Like 14 pounds to a stone, 12.7 tons to an inch, 19/64 feet to a Fahrenheit?
4000 cubits per fathom or something?

That would make him a tickle under 170 pounds or ~ 76kg in real money. ;)

Hot setup is take the fork caps off & pour oil in till they’re full.

Friday night here, I’m off for a beer.
