i hav a 03 yz250 i ride mostly mx and i was wondering what the stock spring rates are and what would be better for my weight i am about 200 with gear on

Well this is the way we did spring rates in the past so if it has changed please chime in. Once you have your bike set up with 100mm of sag measure the sag without you on it... if the bikes weight alone cause it to sag less then 15 mm use a softer spring if the bike weight alone causes it to sag more then 25mm use a stiffer spring. this method may be dated but if no one ealse has an updated method it may still be valid

Stock .44 uyp frony , 4.7 out back . you need a .44 up front ( you got that ) and a 4.9 out back .
