Travis got the HOLESHOT! He definitely looked like he would win or crash hard. He went with crash. I really didn't see it too well, but he was going over a small triple and wrecked, that was going into the fourth corner. Langston tangled with him, but itlooked like Reed was going to land on him, but he didn't. It was a cool race, I only stayed for 8 laps of the 250's.

On mx.large they say TP and Grant crashed in separate incidents in the same corner on Lap 1.

On the webcast, they made it sound like TP and Langston tangled while battling for the lead, but the announcers did not assign blame. The webcast also said Reed ran over TP. It will be interesting to watch that on TV to see what really happened.

Chad Reed clearly is the class of the field. As soon as Windham got within a second of him, Reed turned up the wick and pulled away by 1 to 2 seconds a lap. Then Windham backed down and Reed pulled 3 or 4 seconds a lap on him until he had a huge cushion.

Way to go, Larocco! 4th place with busted ribs. As if there was ever a doubt, that guy is TOUGH.

Bummer for Langston. Strong in qualifying and gets a good start in the main, but finishes the first lap in 19th place. Reed lapped him just before the finish.

Huffman dropped off big time the second half of the race - he must have been hurt or had bike trouble.

BTW, Reed's lap times were faster than Bubba's.

Ok now Bubba has the Title and the record for the most 125 sx wins, what is his motivation to sand bag anymore. Time to move up to the 250's for the next few rounds. He won by something like 29 or seconds last night, he has nothing left to prove in the 125 east.

Reed is the man!!

They said Preston was out with injury and would not be back for the Nationals. They also made it sound as if Pastrana had hurt his knee again. Can't wait to see the TV coverage. I hope Pastrana is not hurt again  I thought the presentation to Larocco was cool with the silver platter and Hawaiian vacation to celebrate his record braking 200th supercross :thumb: Didn't they say Stewart would be on the 250 for the Las Vegas invitational? :aj:

My bet is when Bubba's practice lap times on a 250 prove to him without a doubt he can lay waste to the current crop of 250 riders.....he will be there. That maybe now after records have fallen...maybe not. He has shown patience before and rightly so. Its paying off now. His plan is to be greatest..ever, not satisfied with a few mear championships. Stratigic thinker. So far he's well on his way to acheiving just that.

Travis fell, GL had no where to go and ranover his legs, Pastrana said he thinks his leg is broken. I know there are a lot of "told you so's" coming, but I really feel for the kid. Maybe he should hang-up SX/MX afterall. Ya gotta think he's set.

How'd he do in the main rat? Didn't make the top 10? < sarcasm on > If you can't keep it on two wheels (how many times has that been said lately about others?) and can't keep your cool, it's not going to go well. < sarcasm off >

As often as you call me out I'm starting to worry if you've got some man love issues.

I really wanted to stay, but my dad said we had to take off. :whiner: We live about 3 hours from St. Louis, so we drove down at 2:00 p.m. or so, watched all but the last 12 laps of the 250 main, got in the truck, and got back home at 1:30 a.m. The trip cost a total of $60.

I can oly imagine what you edited.

Dude I'm not even a Langston fan but I do get a kick out of him doing well after you said he doesn't know how to ride a 250. You do seem to bring up the gay thing alot, man love and butt buddy, are you phobic of some of the limp wrist types?

I don't know, what happend to Grant in the main?

LMAO!!!

I don't know about Grant, but KW ( and Grant for that matter) was not doing the ryhem triple section consitent. And ESPN did not show this. I know of at least 4-6 laps where KW did not triple-triple-triple thru there, and boy did that really kill his chances :debil:
When they brought out that CAT for Larocco I kept looking in the bucket. I thought for sure he already had one of those at the house :)

Langston can ride the 250 but he just can't hang with Reed, Kw, Larocco, or even DV for 20 laps. He starts making mistake when he tries to ride on the edge which is what is needed to get a podium spot. It's just too bad Travis went down in front of him and cost him a better finish because he did look good in the heat race. :ugg:

I've been keeping an eye on these two all year. They are starting to make the main on a regualar basis now in the 125 class. I'd say that's pretty awsome for guys driving their box van to the events, turning their own wrenches, and running both classes. Sure seems like some small outfit would have offered them rides by now. Think they're holding out for a good offer? If Vincent can holeshot on a privateer bike, I bet he's going kick some butt if he gets a factory ride with good suspension and what not. Maybe that along with only racing one class will help him from fading so bad toward the ends of the mains.

This week he was at the front of the pack in the first corner, but high sided it going in to the turn.

My Big Letdown

I was on the edge of my seat for the 250 main...until TP bobbled and crashed on the small triple. It was like someone stuck a needle in me and let out all the air. Oh well, I would have loved to see TP do battle w/someone. He led his heat until he made a small mistake and KW passed him, he still hung onto his rear tire for the heat. I think TP musta been nervous in the main, of course he has been known to crash a few times  I really thought the race was all CR after that, I saw alot of people leave the 250 main, not me though. Stewart was awsome but it was definitely one-sided. A 29 second win, what up! After the main he showed off in front of the 250 riders as they were lined up, total psych out if you think about it. I hate to think he may lay waste to everyone next year. I get more excited watching a battle, nuff said.

Travis crashing was a bummer. He looked great up until that point, other than the bobble in the heat race. KW was right on Reed's tail until they had to work through the lappers. KW couldn't triple-triple-triple with all the lappers and once CR broke out, that's when he opened up the gap. Still, a pretty good day of racing. :thumb:
