I went out riding for a few hours the other day and towards the end of the day my bike wouldnt stay running, it took forever to get it started and once it was started it wouldnt stay running unless i was rippin pretty hard, every time id try to gear down and come to a stop it would die out and i couldnt throttle up or anything to keep it running. before all this happened the bike wouldnt idle for very long either but at least it would idle for a bit. any suggestions???

its a 2 stroke i dont know if that helps or not

do a compression check and make sure your rings arent going away.......... if thats all good then its off to carb/air filter

pull the plug and look at it and take note of what color is it.
you can tell alot about how the engine runs by the spark plug. replace that. then clean the air filter. pul the carb and dissasemble the carb and clean. while your there pull the reeds and see how those look. put everything back and if it still doesnt run do a compression test and go from there.
