Advise on starts please on a 125 1st or 2nd gear, full or half revs, foot on peg or both on floor, everyone seems to tell me differently.
Also do the holeshot devices really help and what about switchable ignition.
Any advice would be a great help.

ukracer, do a search on that subject in this forum I bet alot of that will be there. Many of the things you refer to in your post will work in many circumstances. your weight, and size will matter on this issue. others will have to comment on "devices" since I have never used one.
