Has anyone tried this themselves? I want more lighting output and I was wondering if any of you have had success with this.

i tried, no luck. I'm probably no help then, but i have heard many on here that have. I think I was mis-guided when i did mine (probably by myself)!! You might try this link.

It is for rewinding a stator on a street bike, but same principal

I have found information similar to that but the stator on my kdx is different.

hey guys i have a little question if i were to rewind a old spare broken cr250 stator what would happen if i just wind it on the bare polls, is it suppose to be wound this way or is there some other thing suppose to be put on the poll before i get into winding it, and should i just just wind the first poll out of the six starts from the bottom and finish at the bottom and continue the same pattern for all 6 poles? thanks
