Oh - and next year - both High Point (Memorial Day weekend) and Steel City (Labor Day weekend) are going to be alcohol free

Okay - so you probably KNEW ahead of time that there was gonna be traffic - so come in Saturday and camp out. Problem solved. Headaches gone.

There is a back way into the track. Instead of getting off 22 and heading north on 66, you drive maybe 3 or 4 miles past the 66 exit, make a left, go another 2 or 3 miles, make another left, go another mile and your at the track.
Seriously - do you expect an OUTDOOR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS track to be in the middle of a big city with 6 lane highways to accomidate the traffic? NO - usually they're out in BFE - down some contry road. Troy is, Millville is, Red Bud is, High Point is, Steel City is - I'm guessing that they all are for the most part!

To me, it’s all part of the sport. There is nothing better in my mind than walking onto a nicely prepped moto-x track as the sun is still rising, the dew is still on the ground and there is a light cloud of fog hanging over the grassy infield areas. I don’t know if it’s the anticipation of what’s to come or if it’s the quietness since there aren’t many people there but for me, it’s kind of Zen like.
