Hey guys
Can anyone recall when replacing their steering head bearings if the TOP bearing had a rubber seal with it. Thats not the flimsy rubber dust seal that goes over everything but a bearing seal that is packed directly onto/into the top bearing? My bearing I took out did, the the new one didn't come with one. Cheers
P.S Check that steering if you haven't already. Mine felt sweet with every test I gave it but just top be sure I stripped it all down to find a 100% shot bottom bearing. You just can't tell unless the whole thing fell out. Only pointer I had was a trickle of dirty water running out of the stem onto the front guard after a rainy ride
