Steering Stem Nut -What Size?

I want to buy a socket for the nut on the steering stem between the handlebar mounts. Does anyone know the size and is it the same for all brands? I have a Yz125 and a Kx250. I searched the threads and could not find anything.

use a tape measure or ruler and measure the distance between the flats of the nut/bolt that are opposite of each other.Works for any bolt that is metric or fractional inches.

its either a 32mm or 34mm

buy both, when finished return both.

I think the KX is 33 mm
