Stock tire hieght vs Mich S12

I just bought my son a new 02 kdx 220.I noticed that it has a fairly tall profile rear tie on it.a 100/100/18 I believe?Does anyone know if the MICHELIN S12 140/80/18 is any lower a profile tire(he's a little short for the bike and the S12's are awesome tires)If its a lower profile tire I would be killing 2 birds with one stone.THANKS

A 140 is waaaaaay too big IMHO.(Too wide) I have the 120 and I like it.

I would have to agree with FredT. The 140 would be to wide. I run the
s-12 120/90-18 and in Fl sand and other soft stuff and is plenty of tire.
I think the 140 will require a lot of clutch work to make it spin. The stock
Dunlap and the 120 mich appears to be the same height.
