Here in South Texas this is the best time of year to ride/race. It gets pretty hot in the summer time. I am loving this cool weather. We did have a freak snow storm at x-mas. Should have heard the people on the news, they are a bunch of freaks. No mud slides here, when it rains.

yeah if it snows like 1/4" this whole area shuts down. school business ect. its stupid. i just dont get it. :coocoo: :think:

i imagine the weather in cali is nice. but i love not being told what times of the years i want to ride my 2smoke. :moon:

Here these last 3 days in Baltimore, we've been given the scare treatment from ALL the TV stations about a "major winter event" wich we were to receive this weekend...We altered our plans for the weekend, and went out and bought some groceries.

the snow which was to accumulate from 10 to 14 inches has petered out with about 4 on the ground...'

I know weather is a crap shoot, but jeez I am sooo disapointed!

In the 8 years I live there, I never once had to dig 5' of sunshine off my car and the sun never made the doors freeze shut.

Of course, snow storms don't completely destroy cities like hurricanes tend to......

our local news station has a thing they call " operation winter" when we have gotten 12 total inches of snow most of which fell this friday ( we got 9 inchs). they make it seem like u need to stand on the top of a house just so your head will stick out of the snow
