Stroke A KX100?

Hey guys,
Anybody know much about a stroker? Is it worth the money? Will it last or blow up after a few races? Just bought a 03 KX100 for my son to ride in the SuperMini. Around here it's who ever can afford the most mods-wins. Any suggestions?

Give Eric Gorr a call . PR2 racing is very reputable also, Jeff does nice work but it costs a couple big ones. A local national mini rider that we know well uses PR2 and was very impressed with his work.

Eric mentions that the kx responds wel to stroking.

I guess what concerns me the most is if it will last. I heard of some bottoms blowing after 4 races! My wallet can't afford that. I talked to a shop in CA & it was suggested to put a YZ ignition switch box with the stroker. Big $$$. I wish my son was at that level. Anyway, from our experience, the KAWI bottoms don't last very long anyway. I'd hate to fork out close to $3k & have it blow up in a month.
