Hello!
Last time out riding a friend thought it would be funny to lossen the nut on my throttle cable. I found it and tightened it back up, but the bike seem to "race" a little at idle. Today while riding, the same thing was happening and it just doesn't seem right. I got the bike home after a short ride, cleaned it up then put it on the stand. I started it up to get rid of any excess moisture and the throttle stuck wide open in neutral.
What happened here and what should I check? Everything was fine before my friend lossened the circular nut. I re-tightened it thinking nothing else of it, but something is not right. I can tug on the cable and it controls the throttle!
Help! Thanks!
John
