Thanks for responding shr. I should have asked which is a leaner needle a BEL or a CEL. Not a BEL. My mistake! Thanks

CEL is richer above 3/8 and the BEL richer below all things being equal.

CEL and BEL have the same L1 length and the needle with the greater taper "C" acheives the arbitrary L1 diameter is less distance so the taper starts lower on the needle.

CEL is a viable choice for performace oriented jetting in the 200, start in the 3rd clip and feel free to experiment.

how does the stock needle work at 4500-8000 ft? you might try cel-2 with a 42 pilot and a 150 main for starters or pick up James Deans jetting guide for $ 20.00 at jdjetting .com

I'm in the process of trying the BEL-2, but the weather hasn't cooperated. At the present time I have 40 pilot BEL-2, 152 main PS about 1-1/2 out. I had a CEL-2 . I'm just trying to clean up the plug. I can't answer your question about the 4500-8000' I'm at 1200ft. Thanks all for responding. Really appreciated. DTH
