I would like to set the suspension to fit me. I have a 02 yz 125 stock suspension which is currently set with the at fork .42kg/mm and the shock is set at 4.6kg/mm i'm about 5'7, 155lbs, I did do some research i was told the fork should be set at .4001kg/mm and the shock at 4.46kg/mm. First question is how do i set it? and do i have to buy anything? Next question how much difference will it actually make in my riding? I am practicing on a local track and hope to someday get into racing. Any help would be appreicated.

You need to set your "sag". When you have your race sag set at the proper distance, you should then check the unladen sag. If the unladen sag is within specific range after you have your race sag set, then you know your springs are correct for your weight.
Do a search and there are some great posts on how to set your sag and what distance it needs to be at. Your manual should also have this information.

My guess is you will be fine with the stock springs.
