Hi i am taking delivery of my new bike a suzuki rm125 , 95/6 this week, it was fully rebuilt in 98 , but it has never been rebuilt, only serviced since, the engine has around 80-100hrs, 4 years of occasional use, it started cold in a few kicks and then starts first kick when hot, it did jump into first gear, the first time it was shifted, but was fine after that! Do i need to do anything to it?

Also when you hold the front break and compress the forks, it made a clicking noise, do the stearing bearings need replacing?

if its got 80 hours on, it definately needs a new piston. if its been stood, i would replace all the fluids and try and get every thing lubed up well also.

is the the forks clicking or the clamps wobbling in the frame? it maybe just needs tightening- i would take apart and regrease the head races to be sure also! have fun!
