Will Suzuki ever get to sell their version of the KDX, or are their no plans to introduce this model? It seems like theyve (Kawasaki & Suzuki) shared most of their other bikes, why not the KDX?
It would be intresting to see Suzuki sell the KDX as the RMX. It would make parts more available and we could get that lovely yellow pplastic for the green machine!
I spoke to the guys at my local ccm dealer who sell kawa and suzuki and tm and they said that the suzuki improved powervalve and shock desighn of the kdx will be available for the 2004 market! The truth in in that rumour , un fortunately i do not know! Any one else here similar?
The 04 bikes are on the manufacturer's website now.
Since the full sized 2 strokes are still very different bikes, the KDX is not going to be included in the sharing. You have to remember the engine is based off the kx125 motor.
But nothing is coming down the pipe as a yellow KDX this year. I work at a yamaha/kawi/honda shop
suzuki has a rmx200 that sells only in europe, I don't know how to post a pic but if somebody gives me there email address I'll email it to them and they can post it.........
Hmm,.. I've found some small bore two-strokes both street (100/115cc) and dirt (125-185) made in brazil and distributed in the dealers network but the 200's appear to be 4-stroke's. The closest thing to a KDX is the TS-185 and it's like a early 80's enduro (heavy, street oriented). No RMX 200 though, I reemember a RMX 250 in Autralia (i think) but I think it was a dealer conversion, not a factory offering.
Look at the Egypt, Brazil and others to learn how global marketing works.
the 1st link I have in there is of the factory TS200r suzuki made for a few years, I have seen many of them On diff websites, and in some japan websites there are parts made for the TS200r, I can show more pics if you do not believe me, notice the pipe guard on the exaust pipe, everything is stock on the 1st link I showed.......
