When you put a tachometer on a bike to set the idle speed where do you clip the wires, I have no manual for it or the bike. Any help appreciated.

Luke:

Did you ever find out how to connect your tachometer? I've got the same question, and haven't found the answer. Mt tachometer is designed for 4, 6, or 8 cylinder engines with batteries. I've determined how to convert the 4, 6, or 8 cylinder rpm measurements it would provide to give me single cylinder rpms. But since my bike doesn't have a battery and I've had no success connecting the battery leads to the alternator output lead, I'm still stumped. What have you heard or learned? Thanks!
