I'm changing the seals and fluid in my 01cr250. I weigh in at 235 so I'm also putting in heavier springs. I'm strickley a woods rider. For the average trailrider like myself do you think I should mess with the valving? I've heard it mentioned in other threads where oil height plays a factor in smoothing out the roots and rocks also. I'm thinking my best bet is to change the oil, springs and see how it feels before any other changes are made. Others say the only way to make these Shows woods worthy is with valving. :coocoo: Too much info is cousing an overload of my cuircitry.

Heavier springs front and rear is the first step.

I think you are on the right track. Do 1 thing at a time. Be sure to use 5wt oil in the forks and bleed the inner cartridge properly.
