yikes. Interesting arguement going on there too. about how far off the course the rider that went in, or the hole, was. no fun. I've always wanted to go desert riding.

I know there are some around Ridgecrest that are more then 300+ feet deep. It's a one way trip to the morgue. The best way to avoid them is to either stay on the trails or if you're going cross country to stay away from stray mounds of dirt. They tend to encircle the entrance to the shaft.
