Thanks ESPN, Cameron and Todd Harris... You have managed to suck all the excitment of last night out the door...

What is it man, all they do is follow the leader and give history lessons.. They need to get the guys doing the webcast... It adds tons of excitment.... To a rather slow motion event...

No doubt, the webcast was more fun than actually seeing it.

ESPN obiviously felt the need to try and sell me "ARC" gear while the last few laps were going down. ESPN eats butt corn! And so does "ARC"!

Cameron is an idiot. At the beginning of the 250 main, he said many people picked Kevin to win because of his mud riding skills. Then, when Kevin took the lead, he said many people consider Kevin an also ran. What? Who? He may not win a lot of races, but he is far from an also ran.

We need David and Art back. Seriously.

They need to have the same guys who do the web cast to also do the regular commentating. I think I would rather watch the races w/out anyone commentating. "There's 15lbs of mud JUST under that front fender..."

The only problem I have with the webcast was that I couldn't tell what the hell was going on. Those 2 guys were screaming on top of each other like they were little girls and not sportscasters  .... It was like me and my buddies sitting in front of the TV during the superbowl!!. After hearing it, I was really pumped to see the TV broadcast... (mostly becuase the Webcast guys touted it every 4 1/2 seconds) but obviously we didn't get to see all the excitement...

ESPN's tv coverage was the worst. How much of both races did we miss seeing the "Butterfinger Holeshot" replays? I can guarantee, I'll never buy another butterfinger candybar because of this.

My ten year old kid could edit the tape for action better than ESPN did. With qualifiers, comercials, rider profiles, and the history lessons, they probably showed about 6-7 minutes of the race and most of that was leader footage only. The wrecks were shown as replays...again, pathetic editing.

give 'em some credit. They put it together in under 12 hours to get it on the air next day.

Again, it could be better, as in "Live", but it could be worse, as in one race per year (a la Carlsbad GP teamed with cliff diving from Acapulco)

Nah, I don't give 'em any credit at all. They seem to want to portray it as a live broadcast. :coocoo:

They need to admit that it is not live.

How many times have we heard:

"While we were at commercial; Carmichael has reclaimed the lead!"

What the Sam Hill are they trying to pull? How stupid do they think we are? There is no reason we should have to miss any lead changes, any crashes, anything!!

Whew!! OK, that's better!

Well at least they did get it on air at the scheduled time!

Man, we said the same thing while watching it. WTF?! I can se a sec or two right at the line if it is close but the segment was several seconds long with nothing in the frame but a white line on mud. In the mean time Reed and RC are busting triples in mud that I could not even walk in. PA-LEASE!

agreed. That is one thing NASCAR has that I want. More cameras, more angles. Think about it, they don't catch every wreck either . . . instant replay all over the place.

Shhh, if you guys keep bitching, they'll pre-empt Phoenix with an encore presentation of the Double Dutch championships ;)
:yikes:  I'll be good, I promise!!! Sad part is...I watched quite a bit of it. Mostly b/c I was too lazy to get up and get the remote. :uh: The twirling of the ropes hypnotized me...

I was shocked when I watched Windham win that race....but I was MORE shocked that someone deemed jumping rope important enough to warrant TV coverage.
