BLAST FROM THE PAST Kolbe Can-Am sponsored Ron Hornaday Jr. at Valley Cycle Park circa 1975. He frequented Valley Cycle Park and rode for Kolbe Cycles on a Can-Am 250. He, along with Greg Robertson elevated the little known Canadian machine with consistent podium results. Ron moved up to race stock cars and in 1992, he won his first championship in the Southwest Series as well as winning the Most Popular Driver award.
