Think im ready for a 250f?

I'm 15 years old and i currently ride a cr 125r, trying to sell to get a crf 250r and im wondering if any of you think im ready.

1) your physical size (both height and weight are important)
- I'm 5' 11" and 140 lbs, in shape, im a soccer player/ X-C runner
2) How physical / aggressive are you ?
- In good shape, and stay in shape, and im a pretty aggressive rider
3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ?????
- I plan to ride mainly MX with some duning on the side
4) Do you have any riding experience?
- Yes, i've ridden a CR 125R for about a year now
5) Do you think you will race ?
- Of course
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?
- I try to do everything mechanically myself and it usually works out, anything i cant do i have the local shop do
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)?
- I've been raised a Honda guy and plan on staying a Honda guy, and i'd prefer a 4-stroke
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry?
- Yes, a Yamaha / Kawa / Suzuki shop, and a Honda shop, but i plan to buy a used bike from a private seller
9) How much do you plan to spend on a bike?
- About $3,000 for the bike (i have found one within 6 hrs of me)
10) anything else that you think would help form an opinion
- Been finding myself at the dunes wishing i had a bit more topend power and more torque so i would stop digging in. I find my 125 to have too much spin and it feels a bit too squirrely

i say a yz250f. they are definetly reliable, and as far as power, :yikes: it will blow you away. trust me, my dad has one.

well your not going to gain any topend compared to your 125 on a 4stroke but you will have loads more power on the bottom end to dog it through the deep sand

i would say yea, your obviously ready
