I've got my eye on a 97 RM250 but am a little hesitant because it doesn't use inverted forks like most of the bikes out there. Are there good/bad points about the non-inverted forks I should know about? I'm a B/C rider, 6'3, 220lb if that matters.

Thanks..

I had a 98 same forks they worked really well.I didnt notice anything that would be a problem.Basicaly internaly they are the same as the forks on the cr250 and rm125 just right side up.

The forks were re-designed for 98. Conventionals are a little plusher but inverteds weigh less. The inverteds perform slightly better but you probably wont notice unless you are an expert. If you did notice anything its probably the different valving/springs.

If you're hell bent on getting inverted forks you can always put some 99-00's on by switching tripple clamps.
