Well, it's late November, so I won't get to ride again for about four months or so. but anyway, I might as well dream about getting a new bike in the meantime. I live in Michigan, commerce is where i actually live, but i ride at my cottage in Crawford Co. near the towns of Gaylord and Mio. Right now I'm riding a Yamaha TTR-125 ES and i seriously need a new bike. I ride just about all terrain except for stuff that's left for trials, and i like to do jumps on a track me and some of my friends have out in the woods. I got up to about 10ft long and then began bottoming-out, seriously. That's why I need a new bike. The "ES" was designed for smaller riders, which was fine for me a few years ago, but now that i have grown so much it's just not enough for me anymore. I'm 14 years old, weigh 115Lbs. and I'm looking into the fastest four-stroke 250 bike that has plenty of suspension, and maybe a head/tail light setup. If i decide to get the 06' YZ125 by springtime I'll have to be careful of police because people around my neighborhood up north don't really like their roads ripped up loudly. I'm thinking about the YZ250F.
I almost forgot, most of all I need something that can at least compete with a KX-85 because my friend has one, and that's who i compete against for the most part. right now he's blowing me apart in just about every aspect, except for maybe skill. But it is annoying losing a race to a 10-year old because his bike is faster than yours.
