It came off pretty easy but what are the tricks for getting a new one on again? The top side gets in the way when I try to put the bottom bead on the rim.

Experience and practice are huge factors.  And at least one good tire iron is nice, too.

BUT my tip is a warm tire is MUCH easier to put on than a cold one.  Put the new tire under the hood of your car (with the engine warm) for about 1/2 hour.   I use this trick year round, but in winter or fall, it really helps a lot.
