title in minnesota?

i just bought a brand new YZ 125 YAY :cool: anyways it is an 05 carryover and i got it for 3800 my question is do i need to get a title or license for it in minnesota? i never did with my ktm that i bought just wondering if i been illegal all this time.

If you trail ride, or race hare scrambles or enduros, you need to go to the MN DMV they have apps for a DNR license for trail riding in MN. If you ride mx on private property no license required. I have been checked, they make it seem like a friendly conversation :cool: , by the MN DNR a number of times. They always seem to work there way around the back of all the bikes present for a look see though so get er done. :nod:

thank you KM and how much does that cost and i supposed all i need is what the vin number or just the bill of sale will be sufficient and is that yearly or every three years you gotta renew?
