Drain the float bowl or just remove the carb and clean it throughly. Also a trick I do to every bike I get, cut the carb vent hoses at a sharp angle, this way if gunk gets in them you can squeeze the tube and gunk falls out, I also zip tie the ends together and route them in a place where they won't get kinked.
