To Be a CR85 or Not To Be - That is the question

Ive bought a secondhand honda cr which I was told was 2002 and 85cc. However I have since been told that the bike can only be either 2002 -80cc or 2003 -85cc. Would someone please let me know how to check what bike it is.

Look at the base of the cylinder to find the cc's and the very front of the frame near the forks for the year.

The 10th digit on the frame number should tell you what year it is for example 6 = '06. Hope this helps :cool:
