PROPOSED NOISE ORDINANCE THREATENS TOMAHAWK MX PARK EVENTS
WE NEED YOUR HELP- OCTOBER 2, 2008
BERKELEY COUNTY PUBLIC HEARING
Our right to ride and enjoy our sport is once again under attack. Berkeley County is proposing a new noise ordinance that could stop open practice and races at Tomahawk MX Park. The proposed noise ordinance does not exempt motocross tracks!
A public hearing will be held at:
BERKELEY COUNTY COMMISSION
400 W. STEPHEN STREET – SUITE 205 –
COUNTY COMMISSION CHAMBERS
THURSDAY OCTOBER 2, 2008
7:00 P.M.
All of us who ride and race at Tomahawk need to attend and speak out against this ordinance. There is strength in numbers. Protect your right to ride. Everyone who rides and/or races at Tomahawk should stand up and speak out in opposition.
If you cannot attend, please e-mail your thoughts to the County Commissioners at
scain@berkeleycountycomm.org
As riders and racers we must get involved. Commitment to motocross means more that just training and practice, it means being committed to help preserve the right of facilities like Tomahawk MX Park to operate so that we have a great place to ride and race.
