I am thinking about checking my top end and maybe changing the piston rings. (I have an extra set of rings that I got a while back.) If I do tear it down, do you think I can use the same gaskets that are on the top end if they are not damaged while performing the tear down? The current hours on the top end I installed is approximatly 32 hrs. Any uggestions?????

Should I just opt out for the new gaskets???

Thanks

No no no! You need new ones. They're not expensive.

Doesn't that suzuki have o-rings? They squish. Fiber or metal, they squish. You are sure you want to gamble 600 dollars on 2 o-rings?

The gaskets are both fiber and rubber O-rings.

I will take all your advice and opt out for a new gasket kit just too keep my mind at ease.

Thanks
