top end length?

I ride trails on with my '97 YZ125 and am not sure how long i should go before i rebuild my top end. I went two years last without any problems, but then my bike ate the wrist pin bearing. I've had this top end in my bike since that whole bearing mishap. It is now going on two years again and I already got me a knew kit. I was wondering if yall could give me some input on my situation. thanks

Around 96 0r 97 Yam changed the top end bearing and you must run the correct one. replace it more often than 2 years unless you dont get to ride much .
