Top End Question

I just purchased a wiseco pistion and rings for my kdx 220. When I removed the stock piston i noticed a smaller ring or clip that sits beneath the lower ring. Almost like a spring to push out the lower ring. Anyway could anyone tell me if I should put this back or is it not needed with a Wiseco piston kit because I was only sent 2 rings and not this other piece that sits below the ring.

The OEM piston uses that to provide a bit more outward force on the lower ring. DO NOT use it on your Wiseco piston!
