Torn Meniscus-surgery? or no?

So my question is: Is it best to do the surgery and be done and over with it? Or wait it out and possibly have to do surgery in the summer before I get married?? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I had this issue and put up with the pain for a long time - too long - partly because it was mis-diagnosed. I finally had the surgery last year, and wish I woud've had it a long time before that. It took about 5 weeks to get going again.

I was kinda wondering how long it was going to be. I'll be back to work on Monday (we'll see) I still have a hard time with the stairs..luckily there is only 6 of them! Still can't kneel or bend it for a long time. It has only been 2, so probably when I see the doc in 3 wks I'll be a lot better.
