Hi all,

I need to know what the torque figure is for the eight or so little philips head bolts that hold the front rotor to the hub on the '86 to '88 KDX. I am retrofitting an '86 front end to my '84 and don't have a manual for the '86. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

FWIW, on my CR250 the manual calls for 12 lb. ft. of torque, with threadlock. These are regular hex-head bolts, so I doubt would need or want to get phillips heads that tight.

Well, the '88 owners manual states 87 in-lbs for the screws but they also state that there are only six screws so my hub must have sprouted 2 more. I'm with Dave though, use some loc-tite, get them as tight as possible with a good screwdriver, and go ride. edit: AFTER loc-tite dries
