Traction Issues

Hello

I have a 2001 yz250 that I recently purchased. The previous owner had a skinny road tire mounted on the rear and I replaced it with a Dunlop D952. Before, with the old tire I could ride around on packed snow. Now when starting in the same packed snow the new tire just starts digging a hole in the ground. Any suggestions?

frontbreaks locked up? my old ttr has a slicks on it and it still ran in the snow just slid everywhere

id say with the slicks its still spinning alot, but no tread means its not going to move very much snow, with your new tires you'll still be spinning but it will move all the snow and rip into the ground
